A Gentle May Encouragement
A Season of Becoming
As the warmth of May settles in, I’ve been sitting with the thought that growth isn’t always a loud, visible bloom. Sometimes it happens in the quiet, in those intentional pauses, in the behind-the-scenes planning, and in the hidden work of aligning our hearts with God’s presence.
I have a confession to make. I went down the rabbit hole of social media and all its handles lately. One search led to another, one “quick look” turned into a whole trail of research, and before I knew it, I was juggling more platforms than I could meaningfully pour into.
It wasn’t intentional. It was simply curiosity mixed with the pressure to “keep up.” But somewhere along the way, I realized I was scattering my focus instead of strengthening it.
If you feel stretched thin by the digital noise, remember that you are called to stewardship, not just presence. We often feel the weight of “more,” but God usually invites us into the beauty of “focused.”
“Better is a handful of quietness than two hands full of toil and a striving after wind.” — Ecclesiastes 4:6
Take a breath today. It is okay to let go of the things that drain your spirit so you can pour more deeply into the things that fill it.
So I’ve been stepping back, sorting through what truly matters, and choosing the spaces where I can show up with clarity, consistency, and care. Some platforms are staying, while others are being released. And honestly, it feels freeing.
It’s been a season of sorting things out, and while the process feels slow, it’s steady and necessary. Sometimes the most meaningful growth happens when we pause long enough to choose what truly matters.
If you’ve been feeling like you’re in a season of rearranging, refining, or simply catching your breath, I want to encourage you today: take heart. Remember the Creator, who does some of His most breathtaking work beneath the surface.
A seed doesn’t announce its progress; it simply grows. Even when you can’t see the breakthrough, it is quietly taking shape beneath the surface.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” — Ecclesiastes 3:11
Nothing is ever wasted in His hands: not the waiting, not the planning, and certainly not the slow, steady journey back to what matters most.

Our Prayer for May
This month, let’s choose to step forward together. Not with a rush of frantic energy, but with:
- Renewed Focus: Eyes fixed on the Author of our story.
- Steady Grace: Kindness to ourselves as we find our footing.
- Courageous Beginnings: The bravery to start again, right where we are.
Here’s to a May shaped by intention, simplicity, and the courage to create with purpose.
We are moving forward, one grace-filled step at a time.
