(An extract from my old journal)

A Day When All Seemed Gloomy
Nature often provides profound insights, especially on challenging days. On one such day, when everything seemed to work against me and I kept questioning, “What’s the use?”, I observed the sky. It struggled to clear up, battling against dark clouds. Occasionally, the sun would try to peek through the trees, only to be quickly obscured by the encroaching clouds.
The fleeting dance of light and shadow offered a profound lesson in perseverance and resilience. Each flicker and shift reflected the constant changes and challenges of life, reminding us to endure. Through this natural spectacle, I learned that strength is found in embracing both the bright and dark moments with equal grace.

Thinking in the Wind
Blow, blow, and away you go, wind,
Lift, lift me high with your flowing spin.
For where you travel, no one knows,
You dance with time, as the tide bows.
You are fast, and sometimes slow,
Blow, blow, away we’ll go.
I’ll sail with you to the unknown,
Wherever you wander, never alone.

As we navigate through the challenges and uncertainties of life, there are days when everything feels overwhelming, and hope seems distant. Finding solace and strength in the Word of God is essential on such days.
One scripture that brings comfort and encouragement to me: "The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit" - Psalm 34:18 (KJV).
I encourage you to read the entire Psalm. If you don’t have a Bible, a quick search online will help you find it.
Remember that God is near, offering His love and support no matter how dark the day may seem. He will lift us up and guide us through even the most challenging times. Let this verse remind us that we are never alone, and there is always hope and healing in His presence.
May the peace of God keep you strong! 😊
